(06/24/04) - Again due
to the inclement weather the Tennessee Valley area has received over
the past three days, officials have canceled the first practice day
for Friday evening, June 25th. The weather held off until late
Thursday making it next to impossible for the surface to be ready
Friday evening. This will make the day before the Grand Opener on
Thursday, July 1st the only practice date for anyone prior to the
Friday, July 2nd O'Reilly Southern All-Star "Sweetwater Summer Slammer
50". More information for the practice and/or event including; gate
times and directions to the track can be obtained on the web-site also
or by phoning Murphy Speedway offices during regular business hours
Monday through Friday at (423)337-7575. |
