Sweetwater, TN: As of
right now the 2005 racing season for Murphy Speedway has been
postponed. After the season opener, only a short time ago,
the call was made by track owner, Kenneth Murphy, to postpone
the season until further notice.
With all the tracks racing in the Eastern Tennessee area
the car counts have been spread very thin. There has been
a number of tracks losing money so far this year with their
bigger events that they have scheduled.
The O'Reilly Southern All-Star race that was schedule for
next month has been canceled and has no rescheduled date at
the moment. |
